How I Found the Pagan Path My journey into the pagan spiritual path is still very new. I began my active quest for more knowledge into the ways of The Craft and Goddess Spirituality in the fall of 1996. My first ritual experience was with a good friend and former coworker. It was on Winter Solstice and she came over to my place and we did a very small intimate ritual. We called upon the elements and directions, had a candle lit and she had her Medicine Card Tarot with her. It was then that I realized this really was the right path for me. It felt so right. I had always since I can remember wanted to be a Witch. I had when I was young little "sacred" spaces in my backyard among the bushes where I set up an altar with buddah. I had a mortar and pestal and would grind up leaves and nuts and anything else I could find. I was maybe 8 when this was going on. I always felt connected with nature. I would stand outside on a windy day with my arms outstretched to the sides calling to the sister wind. I would dance under the full-moon gazing up at it's mysterious beauty. These are all things that have been with me since a very young age and now it has all finally come together. I knew not what or why I was doing these things, but once I came to my crossroads, I knew which path I should take which has led me right here. My Book Of Shadows is just now being created. As I learn more and do more ritual and introspection on my spirituality I will be adding it to here. I view this whole pagan site as my Book of Shadows, not just this one page.
